Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were and still are today’s most infamous criminal couple. Clyde was well known to law enforcement and was even wanted in connection to theft, he often stole cars. While Clyde was in hiding he met the love of his life, Bonnie Parker, and the two fell deeply in love. During the Great Depression Bonnie and Clyde indulged in theft from well-known murderers and bank robbers. Although Hollywood depicts Bonnie and Clyde to be madly in love and extremely romanticized their relationship. The couple was responsible for 13 murders, 2 victims where police officers, the lovers were stopped when a close friend betrayed them, resulting in their deaths. On May 23, 1934 in Louisiana Bonnie and Clyde were shot dead in a roadblock.
John Dillinger was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 22nd, 1903. John Dillinger was a member of the Navy, to avoid detection but quickly abandoned his duties. As a child he committed theft, which he was caught and placed into jail. He escaped from jail and his gang embarked on a 3-month bank-robbing spree until they reached their destination of Chicago. Dillinger is known to be one of the best robbers of all time, they used many tactics to persuade and fool the bank people into letting them in or allowing them to roam freely and they took advantage of that. Dillinger and his gang were apprehended, he escaped again by carving a gun out of wood and painting it black, he successfully fooled the cops and people again and got away in a sheriff’s car. After Dillinger was housing in a lodge, whose owner rated him out and the FBI went to get Dillinger. Once again Dillinger escapes police. Dillinger met a woman by the name of Anna Sage, and he was madly in love with her. Eventually, Anna informed the FBI that her and Dillinger were planning to go to see a movie and the FBI showed up to capture Dillinger. As Dillinger was leaving the theatre he took off running down an alley, where he would take 4 fatal bullet wounds, ending the rein of John Dillinger.
